DAYPACK (A personal pack designed for survival for 24 hours.) |
1 - 2 quart hydration pack or 2 - 1 quart canteens with holders 1 - Folding knife or 1 Multitool (leatherman) (Blade length may be NO longer than 4 inches 1 Flashlight or Headlamp with 1 set of extra batteries 1 Poncho (Olive Drab) You may also wear the military Gortex. 1/2 Role of toilet paper in a Ziploc plastic bag 1 Whistle on lanyard 2 Chem lights (Green for Cadets, Red for Senior Members) 1 Compass (Orienteering) Matches or lighter in a waterproof container 1 Paracoord of 50 foot length 1 Set of ranger beads Pen & Paper Duct tape (20 feet) Helmet (CAP Orange Helmet Only) CLOTHING - 2 pair extra socks - Gloves (cold weather & tan leather) FOOD - 1 MRE or 4 Granola type energy bars and 2 Dry soup packages (NO CANNED FOODS) |
